Neerja International Inc is in News for 40” Handmade Blue Pottery Plate

A Unique feat in Blue Pottery 40” plate for the first time.

A Press Conference has been organized by us on 31st July 2019 for “A Unique feat in Blue Pottery 40” plate for the first time”.

Engaged in Blue pottery for the last 40 years, Mrs. Leela Bordia has accomplished a unique feat of making a 40” plate first time in Neerja Blue Pottery. Before this, she has already made 20” & 30” plates in Blue Pottery.

She has developed the art of blue pottery which is now being used in diamond jewellery, beautiful tiles made from blue pottery are being used in five star hotels, for example Hotel Rajvilas. Mrs. Bordia travelled widely to various countries like Turkey, China to adopt their local technology and made new experiments in making knobs, beads and gypsy jewellary, which are becoming immensely popular. A tea set made by Mrs. Bordia is being displayed in Chinese museum (China National Tea Museum, Hangzhou, Zhejiang province-reg).

Blue pottery is a mission for Mrs. Bordia, with whom lives and livelihood of hundreds of craftsman is tied up.
